The Work Side of Things

These are renderings of work I did for a customer in the UK. The copyright notices on the photos were added at his request. He was my launch customer and the person for whom I do most of my work.

Aluminum skeleton for rifle chassis.

Hexagonal Action - Part 2

Here's the hexagonal action as I have it now. The model was created in Autodesk Inventor and rendered in Autodesk Showcase. The rail is NATO Standard profile with a 20 MOA slope. It is held by 4 8-32 UNF screws.  Bolt throw is 60 degrees. Any comments and/or suggestions welcome. The chassis is still in the works. It follows a similar design theme.

Hexagonal Action

I've seen a number of different bolt action receiver profiles: round, hexagonal, octagonal, polygonal, and many more. Most of the actions I've done are round or octagonal, so I decided try something different (at least for me). Like the octagonal receivers, hexagonal receivers are (or would at least appear to be) self-centering, much like the V-block which is often used for bedding round actions. I'll post photos soon. The action will be part of a rifle with a similar shape. Any questions or suggestions are welcome.

Construction Continues

I'm still working on the page. I will be uploading more renderings of my work in the near future.

Here is a modified Remington 700 Short Action I completed for a customer in Thailand.

First Post

This is my first post and mainly for testing purposes. This image shows my own concept design. I haven't had a chance to produce anything, but I hope to do so in the future.
